Studies on Phase Equilibria in Ternary System LiCl-SrCl2-H2O at 288.15 K and Quaternary System LiCl-KCl-SrCl2-H2O at 288.15 and 323.15 K

摘要The solubilities of salts in ternary system LiCl-SrCl2-H2O at 288.15 K and quaternary system LiCl-KCl-SrCl2-H2O at 288.15 and 323.15 K were determined using the isothermal dissolution equilibrium method. According to the experimental data, the equilibrium phase diagram of the two systems mentioned above was drawn, respectively. The equilibrium phase diagram of the ternary system at 288.15 K has two invariant points, three univariant curves, and three crystallization regions, where the solids are LiCl center dot 2H(2)O, SrCl2 center dot 2H(2)O, and SrCl2 center dot 6H(2)O. The equilibrium phase diagram of the quaternary system at 288.15 K has two invariant points, four univariant curves, and four crystallization regions, where the solids are SrCl2 center dot 6H(2)O, SrCl2 center dot 2H(2)O, LiCl center dot 2H(2)O, and KCl. The equilibrium phase diagram of this quaternary system at 323.15 K has three invariant points, seven univariant curves, and five crystallization regions, where the solids are LiCl center dot H2O, SrCl2 center dot H2O, SrCl2 center dot 2H(2)O, SrCl2 center dot 6H(2)O, and KCl. The phase equilibria of the two systems at different temperatures are compared and discussed.
