Fabrication of Magnetic TiO2 Nano-Catalyst and Its Enhanced Photocatalytic and Recycle Performance

摘要In this work, series of magnetic Fe3O4/TiO2 composites were fabricated through simple sol- gel strategy. Subsequently, the resulting samples were investigated through SEM, XRD and DRS. SEM and XRD results indicated that the surface of magnetic Fe(3)O(4)was coated with spherical TiO2 nanoparticles. Besides, the light absorbance of TiO2 NPs was greatly red- shifted to visible region. In addition, it was found that the optimized ratio between Fe3O4 and TiO2 was 0.3: 1, in which 94.3% of phenol could be degraded within 180 min visible irradiation. Furthermore, Fe3O4/ TiO2 composite exhibited excellent magnetic recycle property, which was benefit to reuse of the catalyst.
