摘要The preparation and properties of spherical spinel LiMn2O4 cathode by electrolysis at low temperatures have been studied in this paper. Firstly, the spherical MnO2 was prepared by using the mixed solution of MnSO4 and H2SO4 as electrolytes and the lead plate of high purity as electrode. The temperature of electrolytic cell is controlled at 0 similar to 10 degrees C. Then, the MnO2 is dipped into LiNO3 solution of certain concentration. At last, the homogeneous spherical spinel lithium manganese oxide LiMn2O4 is synthesized at a low temperature of 520 degrees C and crystallized at a high temperature of 760 degrees C as cathode for lithium ion battery. The elementary structure and surface characteristics are analyzed by XRD and SEM, respectively. The results of assembly battery showed that the initial capacity is about 105 mAh.g(-1), and tends to be stable after 6 cycles. It keeps at 98.1 mAh.g(-1) for charging and 95.0 mAh.g(-1) for discharging, respectively, after 30 cycles, indicating the excellent cycle stability.
