摘要A tetranuclear manganese complex of the composition {Mn(4)[(Py)C(Ph)NO](4)(CH(3)CH(2)OH)(3)(CH(3)CH(2)O)Cl(3)}center dot 2H(2)O (1) was synthesized by solvothermal reaction, and characterized by X-ray single crystal diffraction, IR spectroscopy, and elemental analysis. X-ray analysis revealed that complex 1 contains a [Mn(4)(NO)(4)](4+) core with three Mn(II) atoms displaying distorted octahedral arrangements and one Mn(II) ion exhibiting a trigonal bipyramidal arrangement. Low-temperature magnetic susceptibility measurement for the solid sample of 1 revealed antiferromagnetic Mn(II)center dot center dot center dot Mn(II) interactions.
