AbstractThe crystallization processes of Mg-borates from MgO . 2B(2)O(3)-18% MgCl2-H2O supersaturated solution at different temperature have been studied by kinetic method and the crystallization kinetic equations were fitted with the experimental data by computer. The solid phases were identified by IR-spectra, X-ray powder diffraction and TG-DTG-DSC thermal analysis. The new synthetic. method of hungchaoite has been firstly proposed.
