AbstractAn experiment technological process has been developed for the preparation of lithium from Li2CO3 using aluminum as reductant and Al2O3 + CaO as additive. The purity of lithium is greater than or equal to 99. 9%. The equipment comprise two parts, reduction and distillation chambers. The characterization of the apparatus was connecting reduction chamber and distillation chamber. The reduction and distillation furnace were introduced.
