AbstractSupersaturated aqueous solution of magnesium,orate, and its acidized solutions with azeotropic hydrochloric acid, and its diluted solutions with water have Ir:en recorded Ly Raman spectroscopy. The results showed that there exist various polyborate anions in the supersaturated aqueous solutions. The transformations of polyborate ions would be happened in these solutions. Assignments of the recorded frequencies of the borate aqueous solution were given. Boron containing, cation containing and pH of solution are mainly effective on the formations of polyborate anions. Interaction mechanism of polyborate ions in supersaturated solution was discussed.
